What it does

Capabilities

Openextcms is a content and publishing platform ATPL built for teams that publish regularly and want to own the result: pages, articles and media managed by editors, with roles, review and scheduling, and the content served to a website or an app through an API. It is the right tool for a team that has outgrown a page builder. It is the wrong tool for a five-page brochure site that changes twice a year.

  • 01

    Content types

Pages, articles, products and any structured type the team defines, with fields that match the content.

  • 02

    Editorial workflow

Draft, review and publish states, with roles deciding who can do what.

  • 03

    Scheduling

Set a publish date and time; the platform does the rest.

  • 04

    Media library

Images and files stored once, resized on demand and reused across the site.

  • 05

    Version history

Every change recorded, every earlier version restorable.

  • 06

    API delivery

Content served to a website, app or partner system through an API, not copied by hand.

  • 07

    SEO fields

Titles, descriptions and structured data set per page by the editor, not the developer.

Modes

  • Company website
  • News and editorial
  • Documentation and help centre
  • Headless content for apps

04

How we approach this

Approach

Openextcms has no published customer yet. This page describes what the platform does; ATPL will add status, customers and screenshots when they are confirmed.

  • 01

Scoped to one job first, so the first release is small and real.

  • 02

Source code in a repository you control from day one.

  • 03

The same engineers support what they built after launch.

Openextcms is a content and publishing platform built by Aviral Trendz Private Limited (ATPL) for teams that publish regularly: structured content types, editorial workflow, scheduling, a media library, version history and API delivery to websites and apps. Its status and customers are to be confirmed by ATPL.

For some teams. Openextcms suits a team with several editors, structured content and more than one channel to publish to. WordPress remains the better choice for a small site one person edits, and ATPL builds and maintains WordPress sites too.

Yes. Openextcms stores content once and serves it through an API, so a website, a mobile app and a partner system read the same record. Editors change the content in one place and every channel updates.

ATPL built Openextcms and would run it the way it runs Ethos: hosted, monitored and supported by the same team. Hosting and support terms are agreed with ATPL at the start, as the platform’s current status is not yet published.
