Mobile apps still looked after in year three.

We ship Android and iOS, get them through the stores, and keep them installing after each OS update — not a handover and a hope.

Beyond the mock

The app is not the whole job

Stores, APIs and year-three OS updates are where most quotes go quiet.

Plan the app
  • Store

A freelancer shipped the app two years ago. It dies on the newest Android builds.

  • API

Orders still arrive on WhatsApp. Staff retype every one into billing.

  • Year three

The quote covered screens. It skipped the API, store accounts and the year after launch.

How it ships

Handsets before flagships

We decide what only a phone can do, then test on the Androids people actually carry.

  1. build/01

What only a phone can do

We decide day-one jobs and what a website cannot cover: camera, location, offline use or notifications.

  2. build/02

    Cheap handsets first

Flows are tried on the low-cost Android phones most Indian users actually carry, not only flagship demos.

  3. build/03

    Test tracks weekly

Builds reach your phone through store testing tracks while the API is built in parallel — nothing waits on a missing server.

  4. build/04

    Crash reports and OS seasons

After release we watch crashes, ship compatibility updates and add features under a monthly arrangement.

Phone, server, stores

Phone, server and the stores

One team ships both platforms, the API behind them, and the paperwork to publish.

  • API and admin with the app

Same engineers build the server and the panel. There is no gap between “the app” and “whoever hosts it”.

  • Ordering and field work on the phone

Customer and staff apps that post into systems you already run — Ethos has taken mobile orders since 2016.

  • Store paperwork done with you

Accounts, listings, screenshots, privacy forms and review replies on Play and the App Store, under your company name.

  • Year-three still installs

OS bumps, library deprecations and store policy changes handled under support so the binary does not quietly rot.

React Native for most business apps; native only when a feature forces it. You are not funding two parallel codebases.

Work we can put a name to — or the method we will use until we can.

Decide the shape

Native, React Native, or no app?

Sometimes a progressive web app is the honest answer. We say so before quoting.

React Native is enough for most business apps and is what we use for cross-platform work. Go native for heavy graphics, specialised hardware or a platform API React Native does not expose yet.

Yes. API, database and admin ship with the app. Ethos has accepted orders from mobile applications since July 2016.

Your company. We prepare listings and privacy forms, submit builds and answer reviewers; the accounts stay in your name.

When the job is mostly browsing or a form with no camera, location or offline need. A progressive web app is cheaper to keep and needs no store review — we say so before quoting.

App plus back end typically starts in the low lakhs and takes eight to fourteen weeks. We quote the app, API and first year of updates together.
